In Case You Missed It: Bubba Ho-Tep

In case you missed it, Bubba Ho-Tep is a damn funny film.

Bruce Campbell as old Elvis Presley, writer/director Don Coscarelli (Phantasm), a redneck mummy in plastic cowboy boots, and a black JFK in a wheelchair being hidden by the CIA in a rest home.

If you weren’t intrigued by ‘Bruce Campbell as old Elvis Presley’, this film is not for you.

This film is flat-out raunchy, hilarious, poignant, and philosophical, all in a frame work that sounds like a bad acid trip as envisioned by Salvadore Dali and Roger Corman.

If you’re remotely interested by now, you need to at least give the film a rent. Seriously.
