“The Fantasy Kingdom Sim”

100 years later…in a land where you have persuasion on your side, you will endeavor to get your heroes to  save the kingdom from a demon. This isn’t your typical strategy game.  Want to know what I thought of the demo at E3, then click into the other side…

This game is a real-time strategy game that will support GameSpy multiplayer up to 4 players over Local Area Network or the Internet set from the beginning of the game. You will have 16 campaigns broken into 4 chapters available with some smaller missions as well.

You will be able to choose from over 10 different classes to defend your kingdom. They have incorporated some of the old team members and added new heroes.  Heroes will be upgradable so you can work from swordsman all the way up to paladin. Elemental characters have been added and there is a graveyard and spells to resurrect heroes.

I love the concept that as a ruler in this game you don’t get to direct your people to do things and have them blindly go about carrying out your wishes, instead you have to encourage your people to follow your wishes in order to get the job done. I am really excited to play this and find out what happens to your strategy when your heroes have a mind of their own.

They have modernized the AI and the graphics. The parts of the game that I saw look really good.  The concept art work involved in this game is just classic fairytale beautiful. For those of us that would love to live in a medieval fair this could be a great place to hang out.

They were not able to give me an actual date when I was at E3 but the pre-order is saying it will be released on August 4, 2009. To pre-order your copy today click on the link Majesty 2: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim
If you would like a copy of the first Majesty you can get it here Majesty
