EA Redwood Shores Gets Visceral

Visceral Games

The team behind Dead Space, and the upcoming Wii prequel Dead Space: Extraction (not to mention Dante’s Inferno) just got a name change.

EA Redwood Studios is now Visceral Games, perhaps because ‘Electronic Arts Development House In Redwood City, California’ was a little too obvious, and Visceral Games is pretty damn descriptive… I mean, seriously, look at the games they make.

I’m really going to miss using the acronym E.A.R.S..

Not that this changes anything for gamers, but it’s nice to see the team gain some identity.
