E3 Video: Gears Of War 3 Trailer

This one is just another stone in the pond as far as I am concerned, but here is the trailer anyway.

Kratos Returning To PSP In Ghost Of Sparta

Sony has announced via their official blog a new entry in the God of War series, this time returning to the Playstation Portable.

Chains of Olympus is perhaps the best game on the PSP, and is arguably the best in the series on any platform (okay, I liked it the best).

While the first portable GoW was nothing to scoff, Ready At Dawn and Santa Monica Studios (the teams behind Chains of Olympus) are making some bold claims:

“…we are pushing the limits of what PSP can do with state-of-the-art visual technologies, higher resolution environments, and greater depths of scale. We’re also providing over 25% more gameplay, an improved weapon system, and new magical powers — all enjoyed anytime, anywhere.”

According to Sony PR, Ghost of Sparta will take place immediately after the events of God of War I, detailing the trails of Kratos as he ascends to godhood.

While no release date was given, the title will be playable at E3 this year, and Sony expects to unleash Kratos before the end of the year.

Game Review: Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 (PS3/XBox360)

Only having played a small amount of Marvel Ultimate Alliance I didn’t go into this game with many expectations.  Did Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 surprise me?  Check the other side for my take.

E3 First look: God Of War III

gowiiiI got to sit down and play the entire God Of War III demo today and all I can say is WOW.  For back ground information on me and God Of War games is, well in short, I don’t like them.  So sitting in the press part of Sony’s booth I saw a empty system running this game so I figured I would give it a try.

So graphically this is beautiful even in it’s early build that I was playing.  Not to give away to much you have two weapons (in the demo) possibly more in the actual game.  You swap between them with the D-pad and each one is better in different situations.

As soon as I have a nice enough internet connection I will get the video footage I have for it so keep checking back.

Product Review: WarBeast Guitar Controller (PS3 and PS2)

Once again, it’s time to play test ANOTHER plastic instrument.

At this rate, I’m going to need to rent a storage unit to hold them all.

The WarBeast by DreamGear is a full-size controller for Playstation 3, for Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Rock Revolution (don’t bother playing that last one).

Full review is inside.
